Second Grade
Ms. Bott
I have been teaching at Mountain View since 2019.
Education has always been an important part of my own life, but I never thought I would be a teacher. I started substitute teaching and realized I was kidding myself. I love watching kids struggle and grow as they work for foundations that will carry them through their education and life. I love to see friendships form and fall as they learn social skills and to see their self-confidence grow as they see themselves succeeding in various aspects of education and social growth. Knowing that I can be a positive part of this growth excites me and drives me to do my best.
When I’m not teaching, I love to spend time playing games with my family, reading a good book or doing lots of fun outdoor activities; hiking, biking, camping, four wheeling, etc.

Outside of school, I love doing new things. I love to read (almost all kinds of books), take care of my pets (2 cats and 2 dogs), and have fun with my kids (watch movies and play video games). I have been teaching at Mountain View since 2010. I have loved getting to know students and their fun and unique personalities. I love how different each student is and how they have such a variety of strengths and weaknesses! It is my goal, as a teacher, to help each student recognize those strengths and weaknesses and how best to use them to enjoy learning and succeed as a student!
Ms. Sheen
I couldn’t be more excited to start my first year at Mountain View.
I love helping students find a sense of purpose in their lives through education. I believe students should feel inspired and empowered so they are excited and motivated to learn. My passion is math but I enjoy teaching students the power of reading!
Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with my fiancé. We like to be outdoors and are very active. Often we can be found fishing, paddle boarding, camping, or practicing archery.
