Mrs. Anderson

Speech Language Pathologist

Mrs. Anderson

I have been working as an SLP for 8 years, 4 years for Box Elder. I graduated from Utah State University with a masters in Communication Disorders. I believe in the theory Zone of Proximal Development, teaching a skill that is difficult and providing scaffolding so a child succeeds. When I am not helping children, I also work with adults with hearing loss for USU, enjoy time outdoors with my three adult children, my cat "Maggie" and my husband of 28 years.

Math Coach

Mrs. Bowcutt

I've been teaching in BESD since 2012.  I love all aspects of teaching, but my heart belongs to Math! I love teaching kids all about numbers and how cool they can really be.  I am a life-long learner and will always search for new ways to teach and learn.  In my spare time I like to be with my family, shop online, and eat tacos with warm Dr. Pepper!

Special Education

Mrs. Daley

Mrs. Daley is new to Mountain View this year and so excited to be a part of the Mustang family! I love working with kids and helping them learn and grow, both as students and as real people. I love watching student’s faces light up when they understand something or meet a goal. I believe that students of all abilities can be successful. I want to create a positive, safe, learning environment for all students so that they can feel like they are safe, included, and valued. I think that creating positive and meaningful relationships with each student is so important and helps create that positive environment. I'm so excited to get to know you this upcoming school year!

Functional Skills

Miss Lacey

I've been teaching at Mountain View Elementary since 2018. I believe that every individual has the ability to learn when given the correct tools and access to education. I am passionate about behavior change and the positive effect it can have on individuals with disabilities and their families. I personally think my job is the coolest job. I love what I do! When I'm not teaching, I am at target, hanging out with my dog, playing music, spending time outside, building or restoring furniture, or baking something.

Mrs. Tyger

Literacy Coach

Mrs. Tyger

I have been working at Mountain View Elementary since 2015 as a Literacy and Instructional Coach.  I believe that all students deserve a safe environment to become lifelong learners. Giving and receiving feedback, to and from those with whom I work, in order for all to improve is key.   I love spending time with my family, going for walks and noticing the simple things in life.
